"Training"
From the time you arrive until the time you leave, you’ll be under the supervision and guidance of our professional trainers. We always maintain a great student-to-teacher ratio in order to provide an ideal learning environment.
The training sessions here are conducted on a one-on-one basis. Many of the other gyms throughout Phuket charge additional fees for private one-on-one lessons and label it as “VIP training”. Well, at Patong Boxing Gym, we view all of our students as VIP’s and we don’t charge you extra to be treated as such.
To give you an idea of what to expect, here’s an overview of a typical session..
- Skipping
- Stretching
- Technique Work With Your Trainer
- Bag Work With Trainer Supervision
- Pad Work With Your Trainer (5 full 4 minute rounds)
- Sit Ups And Stretches To Finish Off
Since the training is one-on-one, it’s tailored to your needs so there is no “set-in-stone” outline of the workouts. If your trainer feels you need to spend more time working on something specific (kicks for example), then that’s what you’ll do.
Likewise, if there’s something you want to spend more time on, just let your trainer know and the session will be geared around your request. If you want to focus on clinching or sparring one day, just let your trainer know and that’s what you will be doing.
Patong Boxing Gym is located in the hills adjacent to a beautiful running path and of course, running is recommended but not mandatory. We always have trainers that are preparing for their upcoming fights and you’re always welcome to run with them if you need the extra motivation.
All of the trainers here are instructed to emphasize proper technique. If you’re doing something wrong, they’ll let you know - oftentimes over and over again - until you get it right!
Regardless of whether you’re training for fun & fitness or to become a professional Muay Thai fighter, the trainers here will cater to your needs. Once you’re ready and up for the challenge, we can also book you in fights at the local stadiums against equally matched opponents.

With Patong being the most well developed beach in all of Phuket, you’ll easily be able to find accommodation to suit your needs. Whether you’re on a budget or looking to live in the lap of luxury - you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.
You can even stay on-site at the gym if you’d like. We have 15 brand new rooms - all of which are equipped with two beds, cable TV, private washroom with a hot water shower, free WIFI internet access, a fridge and a balcony where you can sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking views of the sunset and the Andaman sea.
As mentioned on our price page, you can rent one of these rooms for a mere 10 dollars per night when you stay with us for a month or more. It really doesn’t get much better than that!

Within our brand new facility, we have a large ring, plenty of carpeted floor space and punching bags, a free weight conditioning area, a restaurant, a pro shop stocked with Twins boxing gear and 15 beautiful on-site rooms available if you choose to stay with us at the camp.
